Hello Nursery :)

26 Mar 2020

Hello to all our parents and children in the Nursery,  I miss you all very much and hope you are keeping safe & well at home. I currently have over 30 Easter eggs sitting in my house- they were meant to be given out to all children as a surprise on our last day of term and now the challenge is to resist eating them! I really do hope we get to see each other again soon and that we are able to give you your eggs.

Home learning packs were handed out on the last day of school, if you didn't receive a copy they are available to download from the website, just click on the home learning tab and click on Nursery. Additionally, here are a few websites which are worth a look if you are running out of ideas of what you can do with your child:

https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/ Audio books read aloud by David Walliams
https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1/videos PE with Joe Wicks every morning
https://www.pacey.org.uk/working-in-childcare/spotlight-on/being-school-ready/ This is a great website, it includes short videos for parents to watch to understand how to support children in Early Years.
https://www.twinkl.co.uk

This is an uncertain time for us all and children will need a good balance of routine and quality time.
Don't forget to send me pictures of your home learning and what you have been up to so that I can update our website and our friends can see what we have been up to; this could be playing, counting, singing, cooking, having lots of cuddles or anything else. I will anticipate any pictures and upload these onto the website early next week. Send them to bdegun@brady.havering.sch.uk.

Look forward to hearing from you all soon. Keep safe
Love Mrs Degun x
