Year Five: Week Ten

This week in Year Five we finished writing our moon myths with some truly amazing results. As our next writing topic focuses on writing newspaper articles, we spent a session analysing a range of newspaper articles to determine what the key features are.
In Maths we have been ploughing ahead with our study of multiplication and division facts, focusing on prime numbers, square numbers and cubed numbers.
In Geography we looked at images of the Earth as taken from the International Space Station. Using our own knowledge and atlases, we identified the parts of the Earth in each photograph and commented on the physical and human geographical features.
