Year Five: Week Six

This week Year Five have completed an Art and Design project based around the artefacts found in Tutankhamun's tomb by the renowned archeologist Howard Carter in 1922.
We looked carefully at the shape of the objects and decided what movements we would need to make to construct them out of clay. We then thought about why the detailed elements of the artefacts were present in the objects and related this to our studies of Pharoahs and Ancient Eqyptian religion.
Finally, we painted our artefacts using bold colours.
