Miss Burgess Update 7/3/24

English
In English this week we extended our learning by learning to describe the setting of valley and the scene where the popular tale of the Three Billy Goats Gruff was set. We then We also learnt to use question marks in our writing and learnt synonyms for the word ‘said’ and used it in our writing.

Maths
This week we learnt to complete the number line to 50, estimate numbers on the number line and learnt one more and one less than given number.  

Other
In DT, we learnt about different materials that is used to build the shades and shelter. During our topic lesson ‘The Enchanted Woodland’ we looked at the benefits of making bird feeders and how it helps birds survive and feed their babies. We also planed and drew the pictures of the bird feeders we would like to make. We are looking forward to make our own bird feedeers in groups, next week.
