Miss Burgess Update 15/2

English
In English this week we first thought and discussed as a class how we were going to write our diary entry and what to include. We discussed each step in detail. We then wrote our diary entiry,  we made sure to include date, addressed it as ’Dear Diary’, wrote it in the first prson, used past tense, discussed and wrote about events in correct order and included feelings.

Maths
This week we carried on subtracting numbers by finding the difference, we laso learnt to find related facts within 20 and solved missing problems.
For Example
____ + 3 = 12       and   10 - ____ = 4 

Other
In Science this week we have explored another one of our senses, smell! We discovered how our nose smells and discussed different flavoured smells. We also learnt that our sense of smell helps in sense of taste. In RE we listened to another Bible story ‘Lost Sheep’
