Happy New Year and welcome back to the Spring Term.
The children have settled well back into the new Spring Term. We have been writing descriptive sentences about Paddington bear in English. We have built our knowledge on nouns and adjectives. This has allowed us to describe a nound using one or two nouns.
During Maths lessons we have began work around tens and ones using place value. The children have started really well on this tricky topic and we spent time building numbers using Dienes blocks.
In Computing lessons we have been began a new topic sorting and labelling groups. We will use to this to help us to create a range of sorting tasks on a computing programme.
