We have had another busy week in Year One! During English lessons we have been looking at the features of letters and writing our own letters to our loved ones. We will be writing invitations to parent during our English lessons on Friday to invite them to our nativity. Thank you to parents that have sent in a pre-stamped envelope for us to use!
In Maths lessons we have been recapping language such as 'backwards' and 'forwards' when counting on a number track. This is something that we will continue to recap to help our mathematical language to develop over the year. We have also been linking numerals to the written form.
In the last few weeks during Computing lessons, we have been using the programme 'Paintz' and using the range of tools to create pictures in the styles of artists. We have used squares, rectangles and circles to create the shapes that suit the style of the artist!
