We have come to the end of a very long half term. The children have settled in well into a new key stage with new challenges and expectations!
The children enjoyed creating diva lamps during our Diwali afternoon. We learnt about what diva lamps were used for and how Diwali is celebrated.
During Maths lessons this week, we have been working using number lines when subtracting. The children have been using the correct language such as 'subtract' and 'minus.'
We have retold the story of The Tiger That Came to Tea in our own words and then we created our own versions with our own animals. During Science lessons, we have been finding ways to classify animals such as ' legs/not legs.' We then had to create our own way of how to sort and classify the animals. We came up with some great ideas of our own!
We wish you a relaxing half term and will see you on the 3rd November.
