Autumn 1 Week 6

In Year One we have been learning about number bonds. We have been using counters and creating part whole models. We then created number sentences and number families to go with the calculations.
During English lessons, we have been reading the book Beegu. A small alien comes down to Earth and spends time trying to make friends. She finds this very difficult! We have written character descriptions describing what Beegu looks like and what her personality is like.
We created characters that might be from Beegu's planet using playdough. We have also been enjoying the weather outside in our outdoor provision.
We are loookimg forward to Space Day on Friday. We will create rockets and test how far they flew and created alien faces.
