During our maths lessons this week, we had lots of practice in counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We learnt to recognise equal and unequal groups, adding equal groups using our knowledge of counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We also learnt to make arrays to make counting easier.
In Science, children used tissue papers to represent seeds, cupcake cups for flowers, pipe cleaners for stem and some string for roots to make picture of a plant, they then labelled all the parts of the plant. Children also had opportunity to look at real plants and identify different parts of plants and labelled them with their partners.
InComputing we learnt to name different parts of computer e.g. screen, keyboard, mouse or trackpad. We also practiced mouse skills by playing game-drag the shape.
