Summer 2 week 3

We had a lovely time at Rainham Marshes. Children enjoyed the pond dipping activities, identifying and classifying different pond minibeast. They had fun learning about plants, making scented potions and identifying colours in nature.
A big thank you to all the adults who came to help on the trip as well.
English
This week children have been learning about statement and question sentences, as well as researching facts and information.
Maths
In maths we have continued to focus on sharing objects into equal groups.

Science
We have been learning about the different parts of a plant and the function of each part.
Just a reminder that Monday 27th June is sports day. Children need to wear a T-shirt in their house team colour. KS1 sports day is 9.30 – 11.30. Please ensure your child wears a hat, sunscreen and brings a water bottle on the day.
