For our English lessons, this week children have focused on thinking of a sentence, holding it in their head and writing it using the expected punctuation of a year 1 child. Starting their sentence with a capital letter, using fingers spaces and a full stop.
In maths, we have been focusing on place value and learning about numbers and the difference between a numeral and numbers written as words.
In Science, we have been learning about the different types of weather and how to recognise seasons in the UK.
For Topic we have been discussing how Dinosaurs are now extinct.
