English:
In English, children reviewed adjectives from the story e.g. big, small, fast, slow..etc.
They then learnt how adding "er" changes adjectives to compare two things e.g. faster, smaller. Finally, children used these comparative adjectives in role-play. We also discussed how exclamation marks change the meaning of a sentence (showing excitement or surprise). We then used exclamation marks in our sentences.
Maths:
In Maths, children compared and ordered numbers to 20. They also added numbers by counting on and used their number bonds to add ones within 20.

Other:
In Science children looked at the animals that camouflages. In History, children learnt about childhood in 1950s.
