Mrs Shah update

13 Dec 2024

What a busy week! The children have completed two nativity performances and they were amazing! We are all very proud of them.
English
In English, we have watched the Snapper advert and the children had a wonderful time predicting what Snapper might get up to next! We used this knowledge to create a rhyming word poem.
Maths
In maths, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. The children have found this a little tricky but have enjoyed the subject.
Other
In RE the children discussed all the different celebrations they have attended and what happened at those celebrations. We had some great discussions about Eid, Christmas, birthdays, weddings and Diwali.
Reminder:
Monday 16th December – Christmas lunch and Christmas jumpers.
Tuesday 17th December – Santa visit.
Wednesday 18th December – class parties. Children to bring in their own snack with their names labelled.
Friday 20th December – children to be collected at 1.15pm.
