Reception Aut 2 Week 6

WOW! What a fun week in Reception.
Today we had our dress rehersal for the christmas nativity. Dont forget this is at 10am and 1:45pm on MONDAY 12TH DECEMBER. You MUST have a ticket if you would like to come. We are very proud of the childrens' confidence, singing and actions and can't wait for you all to see it.
Miss Paris has been busy helping us make snow dough which we have really enjoyed playing with. We also made an enormous bottle cap christmas tree which looks super impressive.
Phonics has continued to go well. Please make sure that you read your child's reading book and complete the homework sheets with them as all the practise is really paying off. Today, year 5 came to visit us as our reading buddies, we really enjoyed partnering up and listening to our favourite stories.
We really enjoyed our christmas dinner today! We had a little dance afterwards and everybody looked really happy.
