Reception Home Learning Update- Week 6

Mrs Zaayman & Miss Kelly - 14 May 2020

Hi all,

I hope you are all staying safe and having lots of fun at home with your families. We hope you were able to get access to the new home learning pack which was released on the school’s website yesterday. If you would like the pack printed please arrange this with the office.

Please don’t forget to email us some pictures of what you are doing at home. You can email any pictures to lkelly@brady.havering.sch.uk 😊

Last Friday (8th May), it was VE Day (Victory in Europe Day). We hope you were able to see the Red Arrows that flew over us towards London. The Red Arrows are airplanes that fly around in the sky and make the sky look very colourful. Have a look at a picture I found of them:

Mrs Zaayman’s and Miss Kelly’s Learning Challenge:
I have received lots of lovely pictures of children practising writing their names in creative ways. Keep doing this! A BIG WELL DONE to those children who emailed a picture for last week’s learning challenge. Remember, all you have to do to enter is complete the activity below and email a picture to lkelly@brady.havering.sch.uk  πŸ˜Š

Challenge 1-   Go on a hunt for some wildlife around your garden or on your daily way. How many different bugs and insects can you see? Can you remember what they look like to draw them? (2 house points)

Challenge 2- As we are returning to school soon, write about what you are looking forward to the most. (3 housepoints) Don’t forget to write your name on your work! 😊

Our Class Carrots!
I have been watering our carrots every day and they are really starting to grow. How many carrots do you think we will have once they are fully grown? Email me with your estimates at lkelly@brady.havering.sch.uk 😊

Have a look at the picture of them:
