Aut 1 Week 7

Wow - we can't believe it's the last week of the half term!
Time has flown and the children have settled wonderfully. You should all feel very proud of your lovely children!
This week, we have been learning about repeating patterns. We have found this ok with 2 colours (ABAB) but trickier with (ABBABB) or (ABC). We are sending home a worksheet for you guys to practise in the half term if you want to. We will also send home the letters taught this week.
In phonics, we will have learnt b f e l h by Friday. We are making good progress with our phonics but please practise the sounds over half term so we don't forget any!
In topic, we have been learning about Autumn. We have done some leaf rubbing, learnt about woodland creatures and we are going on an Autumnal walk on Friday which we will be drawing a map of too!
Have a safe and fun half term. We look forward to seeing the children back on Monday 31st October!
