This week we have been reading Paddington at the Zoo and learning how to use plurals in our work. Our writing focus was writing a diary entry using the past tense. Children have been amazing at using all the writing skills taught so far.
Maths
We have been learning to count in twos and fives forwards and backwards. Children have worked really hard to identify groups of numbers.

Science
We have explored magnetic and non-magnetic objects and materials. Children also worked on developing their scientific skills of prediction and recording data.
Topic
We have focused on settlements and features of London. Children enjoyed sharing their experiences of London, visiting landmarks and monuments.
Next week, as our end-of-term treat we are watching the Paddington movie which is a PG. If you do not want your child to watch the movie please speak to your child’s class teacher.
