We have lift off...

This week has been great fun in Reception as we have been learning about space!
We have looked at the planets in the solar system and thought about where the sun is in relation to them- we used balloons to represent planets, although some may have popped!
We also looked at some planets projected on the bottoms of tables (our own little planetarium) and made our own rockets to fly into space- such fun!
In Maths we looked at one more and one less. Lots of children found this tricky, but really started to get the hang of it by the end of the week- well done all!
We are looking forward to the Wonderdome next week and can’t wait to find out more fascinating facts.
