Week 1 of home learning
26 Mar 2020
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all staying safe and healthy in your homes. How has your week been? I guess like my house everyone is adjusting to having a full house and limited movement outside of your front door.
I know it can be challenging to think of where to start with supporting your child’s continued learning. On social media I have many different ways this is happening. My advice to you would be do as much as you can with your child, without there being tears and you feeling overwhelmed. Please see the previous two class news for guidance on what to do. Where possible the daily phonics sessions are a great resource to help continue your child's reading.
It has been lovely to receive pictures of your work and below are some I have been sent. Remember you can always contact me via my email skaur@brady.havering.sch.uk until school reopens as usual.
I would love to see how you are finding quality family time. We have been playing draughts and card games as well giving the garden a good old tidy.
I have also included a picture to make you smile, as this was a little something we did in year 1 last week amidst the uncertainty, to keep the children's spirits up and the children loved it. Please say a warm hello to your child from me; hopefully, I will see them soon.
