Potions lab and the THING!

This week we are focusing on ‘Emily Brown and the Thing.’
We have been learning about capacity in match, in a ‘potions lab’ linked to the story. We have been using our imaginations to invent different types of potion, such as bringing back all the dinosaurs, tiding the classroom and creating a dragon!
In literacy, we have been imagining what the “thing” might look like. We have put glasses on to imagine seeing and living in different worlds.
We enjoyed seeing the KS2 dress rehearsal production and look forward to all of the other exciting end of year celebrations this week, like the Winning House celebration and the Bookworm presentation. We are also excited about the Fete on Friday and lots of us are hoping to go! It is £5 as a pre-order or £6 on the day. Remember the Fete starts at 2pm on Friday!
