Reception B - Miss Booth Class News

We have had another very busy week but the highlight has been our trip to The Stick Man Trail on Tuesday 11^th December 2018. A BIG Thank You to the parents and Nannies that helped on the trip- we love helpers so please do always ask if you want to come with us on a trip and we will let you know if there room to travel with us or meet us there.

As  with past weeks we have continued reviewing our sounds in Phonics- please go over these with your child as working at  home with them really does help move your children on.
 
Thank you to everyone who took part in our Homework exhibition on Wednesday. Such great work was given in and displayed and shows how so many of your continue supporting children’s learning at home.
 
At the Christmas Fete, Reception raised £94.80  from our stall and all the money will go back into our class- thank you to everyone who attended the fete and helped to raise money for the school and our class.
 
Next week, we have the Infant Nativity on Monday and Tuesday (see website diary dates for timings). On Monday afternoon there is the Christmas Party for Infants- as noted previously please provide your child with a small snack/ drink that will shared during the party- please see the previous letter about nuts etc.
 
We really are looking forward to our last week before the holidays and hope you are too.
