So Much

Mrs Divall & Mrs Zaayman - 29 Nov 2018

This week in Reception we have been reading the story ‘So Much’ that is all about families and celebrations. From this, in Maths we have been counting candles on birthday cakes, identifying which cake has more or fewer candles and ordering numbers on birthday badges. We have also learned the days of the week as a song to the tune of ‘The Adams’ Family’.

We have a big book of our birthday memories and we have made birthday cards, written party invites and held our very own birthday party where we created birthday banners and play party games.

Here are some photos of the children wrapping 'presents'

During the party, the children loved playing Musical Statues, Keep Up Balloon and Sleeping Lions...

In Phonics the children have continued learning different sounds and have enjoyed playing different games such as ‘gotcha’ and ‘slam down’.

Please look out in the coming weeks for all of our Christmas based events.

Enjoy your weekend,

Mrs Divall, Mrs Zaayman & the Reception Team
