To infinity...

This week, we have been learning about space.

We have been learning about Tim Peake. We've learnt about special characteristics of each planet and we learnt that planets go around the sun. We learnt the planets closest to the sun are the hottest and furthest are the coldest. We found out that the spots of Jupiter are actually thunderstorms that have been raging for years and years. We also found out that the planet Venus is named after the Roman Goddess of Love.

We've been building rockets...

All sorts of rockets...

Space Pods underground....

Trying to invent a way to attach a roof....tricky!!

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
