Year 1 have had a fanstastic week!
We have continued writing descriptive sentences about Paddington bear in English. We have built our knowledge on nouns and adjectives, where we have used features such as exploring with our senses.
During Maths lessons we have began looking at place values on a numberline to 20. We have used practical lessons using Deines and counters to count back and forwards/ to add and minus.
In Geography lessons we have looked at the city and countryside, where we have learnt to identify characteristics of a settlement. Children sorted images into the correct categories.
DT:
For DT we are going to be creating our own toy cars, for this activity we will be needing some small cardboard boxes. If you have any at home, please bring them in.
