Spring 1 week 2

Miss Skelton & Miss Booth - 16 Jan 2026

This week, we have continued our learning about Dangerous Dinosaurs. The word dinosaur means “terrible lizard”! We went on a prehistoric safari around the playground. On our safari, we saw a pterodactyl, triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex and many more.

We have also been looking at rhyming words and focused on the story Oi Frog!. The pupils really enjoyed this story and could easily identify the rhyming words.

In Maths, we have been learning all about odd and even numbers. We looked at how many passengers could fit onto a bus. An even number always has a friend!

Next week, we will be going on our first school trip! Please return your child’s permission slip if you have not yet done so.
