Happy Friday!
Another great week in Reception!
This week we were visited by two lovely vets. We asked them lots of questions and were very excited to learn about the different animals they care for.The vets bought lots of bandages with them and the pupils had a lovely time practising how to take care of eachother and our class stuffed animals! They were also able to listen to their heartbeat with a stephoscope!
We have really enjoyed our topic Me and My Community this half-term and would like to thank all of our lovely visitors!
We have also been busy learning about and celebrating Diwali. We got to attend a lovely assembly hosted by Mrs Shah, who explained how her family celebrate. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and completed lots of lovely art activities in class.
Next week, we will be continuing our learning of Diwali and finishing our topic with all things Autumn.
