Reception Autumn 1 Week 2

Miss Booth and Miss Skelton - 12 Sep 2025

What a Brilliant First Week in Reception!

We’ve had such a fantastic first week in Reception the pupils have settled in so well and we couldn’t be prouder of them. They’ve already made lots of new friends, found their way around the classroom, and enjoyed getting to know their teachers.

This week we’ve been busy writing our names, playing together, and meeting some special visitors  including Mr Nunn, Mrs Franklyn, and our two new PE teachers; Mr Darby and Mr Wiseman. We asked them some very important questions and they told us all about their jobs.

Today we had our very first PE lesson. We got to go onto the astro and play lot's of different games please remember PE is every Friday, so please send your child to school in their PE kit with black trainers.

From next week, all children will be able to purchase a biscuit or rice cake from the tuck shop. It costs 20p per day. Please let your class teacher know if you have provided your child with money for the tuck shop.
