Sum 1 Week 3- The Gigantic Turnip

This week, we have enjoyed reading "The Gigantic Turnip" and continuing to develop our writing in relation to the story. The children are being reminded to use their finger spaces, capital letters and full stops when appropriate. Children are also being reminded to work on their letter formations and sounding out when writing, their writing is improving so much!
In maths, we have worked on subtraction within 10, jumping back from number lines, using 10 frames and crossing out/ removing objects.
We will be planting our own beans and sunflowers later in the week and writing instructions on how to do this- how exciting!
