Reception Spring 1 Week 5

We have had a lovely week learning all about our new topic 'Big Wide World'. We have tried many different foods including hummus, poppadoms, tzatiki, mango chutney and croissants. We have looked at different flags and designed our own! We have compared where we live to other countires and spoke about the similarities and differences.
This afternoon we continued our learning of other countries and cultures by having an Eid art celebration afternoon. We had some very special mummys and daddys who attended to help us learn all about Eid and why it is so special. We baked and decorated cookies and got to take home some lovely gifts.
We would also like to thank everyone who attended the parental consultation meetings on Wednesday.
