Mrs Shah Update 7/6/24

07 Jun 2024

Welcome Back 😊

English
This week in English, we have started looking at a new book called; Oliver Moon and the Potion Commotion. We are going to use this book to inspire us to write our own set of instructions. This week we have focused on looking at the different word types we will be using such as; adjevtive, verbs and nouns.

Maths
In maths this week we have been recapping some of our positional language lessons, we especially looked at left and right as this is something we were finding tricky. Next week, we will begin looking at numbers from 50-100.

Other
This week we started our new History topic called ‘School Days’.
In this unit we will learn about what school life was like for children many decades ago. The children were shocked to learn how strict the teachers were and how different the lessons looked.
