Reception- How to Catch A Star

This week our learning has been focused around the book, ‘How To Catch A Star’. The children have enjoyed reading the book and even thought about what they would do to try and catch their very own star-how would you catch one?
In Maths we have been identifying and counting objects and working hard to make sure we form our numbers correctly and accurately-you could always practice this at home too!
We have learned lots of facts about the moon and stars and we also thought about why and where it is dark.
On Thursday we made yummy star cookies and got to decorate them before we tasted them to find out just how delicious they were.
