Cedar & Acorn Class Week 2

15 Oct 2020

This week, the children have been enjoying learning all about The Gruffalo! We have made stick puppets, acted out the story, went on a Gruffalo hunt and explored how the different characters move and sound using music and instruments.

We have been learning the names and some properties of 2D shapes. Such as squares, rectangles, circles, ovals and triangles. The children have enjoyed playing shape bingo and looking around our provision to find some 2D shapes. They pointed out the shapes of the windows, ceiling tiles and even their sandwiches!

If you haven’t already, please look at Seesaw for some activities that were uploaded for you to complete with your child earlier this week. We love seeing the responses!
Have a lovely weekend.
