Through the Magic Mirror

Welcome back! We hope you've all had a lovely half term. Our topic this half term is "Reflections". We have been busy looking at objects that do and do not show our reflections, as well as looking at our own reflections too. 

In phonics some of us have been recapping our sounds r, v, j, w, y.
Some of us have been learning and consolidating our knowledge of ay, ee and igh. 

In maths we have been learning about numbers to 20 this week; we have been comparing and ordering numbers from smallest to biggest and vice versa. 

You should have received a letter informing you about our trip to Hornchurch Country Park. Please ensure you sign the bottom half of the letter and hand it in- without this your child will not be able to attend the trip.

OCTOBER HALF TERM IS: MONDAY 27TH - FRIDAY 31ST OCTOBER INCLUSIVE.
Children return to schhol on Monday 3rd November, 2025.
