Lost and Found

26 Jan 2018

This week we have been reading the story "Lost and Found". The work we have been producing has been amazing! Take a look at what we've been up to this week...

We have been learning our number bonds to 10 in maths...

We've been writing simple sentences and pretending to play "schools"...

We made different sized houses for the penguins to live in...

We learnt all about where penguins live. Then, in the garden we decided to draw out maps from Brady to the South Pole. We made penguin huts and followed our maps to meet them!

We re-told the story using musical instruments to reflect the sound of the sea when it was calm, choppy or stormy...

Later on in the week we decided to write our own stories! This was great. We used the chalk board to plan out our stories...

Working hard writing out our ideas...

We made boats like the boy in the story did, and tested if they would float or sink.

The stories we have written this week have been amazing!!! Some of us decided to make story covers for them and then put our writing inside, making them look like real books.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bhambra
