Week 1

09 Sep 2016

We have had a fantastic first week back in Year 1. The children have transitioned well into Year 1 and have adapted to KS1 very well so far.

We have been reading the story "Class Two at the Zoo" in Literacy and learning about one-to-one correspondance and adding one more in maths, as well as consolidating our knowledge of numbers up to 20.

We have enjoyed having a play time in the afternoon to keep our minds active and fresh!

Please don't forget that PE will be every Wednesday afternoon. Please label all of your child's PE kits and uniforms.

Please see the "homework" tab for your children's homework this week.

Thank you to those parents who were able to make it to "Meet the Teacher" this morning- it was lovely to meet you and introduce myself, Miss Nicholls and Mrs McMarn.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
Miss Bhambra :)
