Spr 2 Week 5- Happy Red Nose Day!

24 Mar 2017

Happy Red Nose Day! Children looked fantastic dressed in red. Thank you all for your donations- they enjoyed the cake sale!

In maths this week children have been learning how to add single and two digit numbers together using a number square and beginning to cross 10's. We found adding easier than subtraction but we tried really hard.

Thank you Italia for bringing in your clock for us to use this week! We enjoyed practicing o'clock and half past times.

In Literacy we have really enjoyed poetry week! We have been writing shape poems, poems with adjectives, poems with rhyming words and next week we are going to write acrostic poems. We have really enjoyed adding rhythm and expression in our poems when performing them back to the whole class.

We enjoyed exploring the colour magic programme in IT.

In art we made split pin animals!

I hope you all have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing your amazing Easter bonnets next Wednesday.

Miss Bhambra :)
