Aut 2 Week 1- Fireworks!

Welcome back, I hope you all had a good half term.

PE this half term will be in the hall so children will not be going outside during the cold months ahead.

All parents should have recieved a newsletter for this half term, and a letter about parent's evening too. Please book your appointments for parents evenings online.

This week in maths we have been learening about ordinal numbers, teen numbers and some of us have begun to add 3 single-digit numbers together.

We have been busy re-capping all of our learnt sounds in our phonics groups.

In Literacy we have been reading "The Man on the Moon". We enjoyed this story and wrote him and the aliens a letter- they wrote back to us too!

In topic we have been learning about who The Beatles were.

We had BRICS this week, we enjoyed making fireworks from coke and mentos, and creating our own fireworks and Guy Fawkes figures.
