Week 2 Learning

What another fantastic week of learning in Year 1! The children are working extremely hard and making a good transition from Reception to KS1.
In Maths we have been looking at counting to 100. The children have been learning about addition by working out the missing number in a number sentence. They have used lots of practical resources to help them. For example, cubes and number lines.
In Literacy we have been looking at 'Araaagghh Spider'. The children wrote some beautiful descriptive sentences to describe the spider. Some of them were a little bit scary!
It was fantastic to see that ALL children handed in their homework last Wednesday. Thank you!
