Our solar system... and space band!

Dear Parents,
We have really enjoyed meeting with you for parent consultations. Thank you for coming!
This week in literacy, we have been designing our own imaginary planets, labelling the features and writing simple sentences too. We have also been looking in the library at non-fiction books about Space.
In maths, we have been learning to use a number line to count on to solve addition number problems.
In topic, we have been learning about Space. We have been learning about the planets in our Solar System and some of their features.
We have also been exploring some different instruments from the music store, we had great fun trying out violins and recorders amongst other instruments.
We have used the programme RM Colour Magic to paint planets on the laptops.
We will continue learning about Space next week.
