Summer Activities

15 Jun 2018

In phonics this week we have been reading ditty books, and practicing our high frequency words. Please continue this at home with your child, see homework books for more info.

In maths we have been adding and subtracting single digit numbers from each other. We have also been measuring our shadows outside in the garden and using counting cubes to check.

Mrs. Divall and year 3 came to visit on Wednesday and we built towns and houses!

We wrote instructions for how to make a sandwich and what we'd like at a picnic. Then, we made our own sandwiches and had a picnic!

Don't forget that school closes at 2pm on Friday (22nd) for the summer fete which is 2-4pm.
Have a great weekend :)

CHRISTMAS FAIR - FRIDAY 13TH DECEMBER, 2-4 PM.
Cake donations gratefully received. Please hand into the school office or your child's classroom in the morning. Thank you.

Chicken Pox - a number of children are currently off ill with this. If your child has or gets chicken pox, they should remain off school for about 5 days from the onset of the rash/spots.  Once the spots have crusted over and no new ones appear, your child can return to school if they feel well enough.
