Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair - Reception Sum 2 Week 7

Mr Hetchin - 14 Jul 2017

We have had an exciting week looking at the story of Rapunzel. In Maths we have learnt about length and height and have learnt to compare them. We have used non standard measurements to measure rockets and towers.

In Physical Education we have been practising dancing to Just Dance. In open learning we have made our own complex train tracks. The children have shown great sharing with their friends.

This week we will be talking about what we have enjoyed in reception and talking about Year 1. This week we be sending home the children's school books, although some books will be passed on to the Year 1 teacher and these will be able to be collected from them.

Many thanks
Mr Hetchin and the Foundation Stage Team.

Chicken Pox - a number of children are currently off ill with this. If your child has or gets chicken pox, they should remain off school for about 5 days from the onset of the rash/spots.  Once the spots have crusted over and no new ones appear, your child can return to school if they feel well enough.
