Planets quiz

Mrs Divall - 01 Dec 2016

We have been learning about the planets.

Can you answer these questions....?We can!

Which is the hottest planet?

Which planet is furthest from the sun?

Which planet has terrible weather, including thunderstorms?

Which planet has a moon called Titan?

Which planet is also known as the Red Planet?

We have been learning that planets orbit the sun in our solar syastem.  We acted it out ourselves in the classroom.  Ruby was the sun first and children took turns to become planets and orbit around her.

Thank you for all the nativity costumes so far.  Don't forget, we need them by Monday if at all possible.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Divall

If your child was born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016, they are due to start Reception Class in September 2020.  If you were unable to attend our previous meetings, you're welcome to visit the school on Wednesday 11th December between 5-6pm (no booking required).  Please do not attend if you came to the previous meetings.

Reception - Year 6 parents/guardians. If you wish to order school photographs via the school for free delivery, your order must be received into the office before Tuesday 3rd December. For Nursery parents, before 13th December.

Chicken Pox - a number of children are currently off ill with this. If your child has or gets chicken pox, they should remain off school for about 5 days from the onset of the rash/spots.  Once the spots have crusted over and no new ones appear, your child can return to school if they feel well enough.
