We have focused on writing a wanted poster using adjectives and conjunctions.
Maths
We have focused on subtraction and how we subtract from the largest number.
Science
We have been exploring if the width of paper aeroplanes wings make a difference in how long the plane stays airborne.
Topic
We have started painting our superhero t-shirts.
Don’t forget next Wednesday 8th is Christmas dinner and jumper day.
Friday 10th December is come dressed as a superhero of your choice.
Also, a gentle reminder that earrings must be removed on Thursdays when children have P.E.
Homework.
As always, homework for the week is to log in to numbots and practice your maths skills to build fluency.
Remember to read your book-bag book to your adult at least 4 times this week – don’t forget to talk about the book. Adults, you can use the activities and questions on the last page and inside back cover as guidance for the types of questions to ask.
Each week, your child will be given a spelling sheet for spellings, covering sounds and red words they have been learning in their phonics groups. Spellings will take place on a Friday during phonics and their result can be found in their spelling book – please return this every Monday.
