1K week 3

24 Sep 2021

For English, we have continued to practice writing sentences using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Children have been using their phonics knowledge to spell words. We have been reading Dinosaur Drip and writing about the story.

In maths, we have been focusing on number and learning about one more and one less. We have been using a range of maths resources to extend our learning.

In science, we have continued to learn about the weather and clouds, as well as identifying features of the weather.

In topic, we have been discussing how dinosaurs became extinct, as well as looking at the job of paleontologists and how to excavate fossils carefully.

Our Library day will be on Fridays please can you send your child to school with their library book on Fridays so they can be issued with a new one.

Reading books will be issued as of next week.
