Reception Home Learning Update- Week 2
Mrs Zaayman & Miss Kelly - 02 Apr 2020
Hi all,
We are now into our second week of home-school learning and how crazy it has been! We are missing all of you! Thank you to everyone who sent in some pictures of what they have been getting up to at home! π
Please continue to keep us updated by emailed either one of us at: lkelly@brady.havering.sch.uk.
If we were at school this week, our topic would have been Easter. There is lots of resources for Easter on Twinkl. Here are some ideas of activities we would have done: learning about the Easter story, decorating eggs, making our own natural Easter eggs (see challenge below), the story of Jesus, making chicks and making Easter cards.
See https://www.pacey.org.uk/news-and-views/pacey-blog/2017/april-2017/10-easter-activities-for-children/ for more ideas.

Mrs Zaayman’s and Miss Kelly’s Learning Challenge:
Another WELL DONE to those children who emailed a picture for last week’s learning challenge. Remember, all you have to do to enter is complete the activity below and email a picture to lkelly@brady.havering.sch.uk π
As Easter approaches, this week’s challenge involves one which is creative ready for Easter.
Challenge 1- (2 housepoints)- Go outside (in your back or front garden) and find a leaf. Cut the leaf into an oval shape and decorate it. You will have created your very own natural easter egg. You can decorate it with sticks, twigs, flowers. You could also use colouring pens/pencils to decorate it, or simply cut a pretty pattern out of it. It is your choice, but be as creative as you can!! π
Carrot Update- EXCITING!!
I have continued to water and give sunlight to our carrots that we planted when we was in school and….. THEY HAVE STARTED TO GROW π. I was so excited when I saw our carrots growing. Take a look at the picture at the bottom of the page!
Here are some of the pictures we have received this week:
Stay safe and healthy!
