Spr 2 Week 4- What's The Time Mr. Wolf?

Thank you all for attending the parent's evenings, it was great to meet with you all and share the children's work and progress. I am very proud of every child in year one :).

In Literacy we have been reading "Grandad's Island". We have been re-writing the middle of the story, describing the setting and writing a letter to Syd from the perspective of Grandad. We are getting good at using proper nouns and remembering to include adjectives and conjunctions in our work. Today we were introduced to the exclamation mark and what punctuation is.

In maths we have been practicing reading o'clock and half past times. We enjoyed playing What's The Time Mr. Wolf.

In Science we have been continuing our work around plants and went on a plant hunt around the school to see which common and wild plants we could spot.

Children enjoyed the St. Patricks Day themed BRICS today.

RECEPTION ADMISSIONS FOR 2025

Applications for Reception 2025 admissions (children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021) have to be submitted by 15th January, 2025.

February Half Term is Monday 17th - Friday 21st February, 2025.
Monday 24th February is an INSET day, so children will return on Tuesday 25th.
