Mr Ahmed's Class Update

26 Sep 2025

Year 2 have had another brilliant week at Brady Primary!

English
This week we have dug even deeper into our English unit exploring Neil Armstrong and children have now begun to write their own diary entries as Mr Armstrong on the Apollo 11 space mission! They have been working so hard, have begun to produce some high quality and creative writing, and are very proud.

Maths
This week we have looked at more than and less than as well as ordering numbers in sequences. Children have been challenged and have engaged so well recognising number patterns like their 2s, 5s and their 10s.

Topic
In History, we have delved further into our significant people unit and researched our beloved Neil Armstrong learning all about his life and what makes him important. In science, we have looked into what animals including humans need to survive and learnt some really interesting facts about some animals!

We are also celebrating European languages day and have had a go at practising some Spanish as well as making some of our own albanicos and dancing with them to our own Spanish fiesta-Olé!
