2WO Autumn 1 Week 3 Update

This week, the children have worked hard to write some facts about Neil Armstrong's life and create a biography about him. They have also been making inferences about Neil's thoughts and feelings on his space mission. This will help them to write a diary in role next week.
Maths
This week in Maths, the children have been using a number line to help them to count in 1s and 10s within 100. They have been using their tens and ones knowledge to compare and order 2 digit numbers.
Topic
In History this week, the children learned how to use a timeline to order significant events in history. They learned how to read years to help them look at significant people, and order their births in chronological order. In Science, the children have been carrying out some investigations regarding the basic needs of survival for animals, including humans.
