This week the children have been writing their own narratives based on the short film, Bubbles. They have been really successful in using conjunctions, noun phrases and even similes in their writing. The Year Two team have been feeling proud of the progress they have made this year!
Maths
In Maths, we started our statistics unit of learning. The children have been learning how to interpret block diagrams and pictograms. They have also practised making their own tally charts!
Topic
In R.E. the children had a very thought provoking discussion. Following last week's learning about the creation story, they were deciding whether God would still look at the world and say it is a good place to be. The children had some interesting ideas for both sides of the argument. We then thought about the small things we could do to make the world a better place to live.
